MPF Ratings Chairman Francis Chung anticipated that the MPF will end this year with a single-month investment loss, similar to the beginning of this year. However, this year is likely to be the best-performing year since 2020, with annual investment returns for the MPF expected to exceed $100 billion, equating to an average return of around $21,600 for 4.75 million MPF members. Before this year, the milestone of $100 billion in annual investment returns for the MPF was achieved in 2020 and 2019, and so achieving $100 billion in returns for two consecutive years is possible, Chung said. However, with the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump approaching in January next year, there remains uncertainty about whether the MPF can achieve this target.Related NewsCFLP: CN Commodity Price Index Dips to 111.2 in Dec 2024
