Ant Group issued a clarification announcement stating that it recently took note that an organization had claimed on multiple platforms to have insider information that Ant Group is about to go public through a backdoor listing, in a bid to induce netizens to enter chat groups and then recommend stock information.

Ant Group accentuated that it currently has no plan to go public, and there is no such thing as a "backdoor listing". It reminds investors to identify scams and avert financial losses.
