On Wednesday, Tesla (TSLA.US)      stock price breached past its all-time high set in 2021, soaring 4% intraday to a peak of US$417, peaking at US$417.86, propelling founder Musk to become the first person with a net worth of US$400 billion.

Based on the closing price of Tesla on November 5 before the result of the election of Trump, who was supported by Musk, as the new US president was announced, the share price of Tesla has rocketed 66%.

The share price of Tesla at the beginning of 2024 was similar to the level in early November, both around US$250. The share price of Tesla has ballooned by about 68% so far this year. The stock jumped up about 38% in November, its best monthly performance since January 2023.
