In an interview with Radio Macau, Assistant Commissioner Ng Sou Peng of Public Security Police Force in Macau, said that in 11M24, 195 million passenger trips were recorded at all Macau border control points, up 19% YoY and 10% higher than the same period in 2019.

Ng said the authorities will fortify the inspection police force at the border control points, conduct regular drills to enhance the emergency response capability of personnel, and lay down crowd control plans.

At the same time, it will continue to improve the collaboration mechanism with mainland China's border control units to ensure safe and smooth customs clearance at the border control points.
