CHINA GRAPHITE (02237.HK)  +0.005 (+1.351%)   opened 13.7% higher today (4th) before gains expanded. It once leapfrogged 50.7% to peak at $0.55, hitting an over-half-year high. It last posted at $0.53, up 45.21%, with 18 million shares traded, involving $8.9492 million.

China had announced yesterday (3rd) its decision to reinforce the export control of relevant dual-use items to the US with immediate effect, including banning the export of dual-use items to the US for military users or military purposes, not authorizing in principle the export of gallium, germanium, antimony and super-hard materials-related dual-use items to the US, and implementing more stringent end-user and end-use screening of graphite-related dual-use items for export to the US.
