With approval from the State Council, Shenzhen will implement the policy of "multiple entry" permits for travel to Hong Kong, while Zhuhai will implement the policy of "one trip per week" endorsements for travel to Macau, and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin will implement the policy of "multiple entry" permits for travel to Macau.

Starting December 1, 2024, Shenzhen residents and residence permit holders can apply for the "multiple entry" endorsement for travel to Hong Kong. It allows unlimited trips to Hong Kong within a year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days.

Starting January 1, 2025, Zhuhai residents can apply for the "one trip per week" endorsement for travel to Macau. It allows one trip per natural week to Macau within a year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days. Residents and residence permit holders in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone can apply for the "multiple entry" endorsement for travel to Macau. It allows unlimited trips to Macau within a year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days.
