Launched on 24 November 1969, the HSI has just celebrated its 55th anniversary on the past Sunday, The Hang Seng Indexes Company issued a blog saying.

Numerous constituents come and go over the past 55 years, as listed companies in Hong Kong have been going over merger & acquisitions, privatization amidst market competition.
