Group of Seven (G7) foreign ministers have been meeting in Italy for 2 consecutive days, according to Bloomberg. A preliminary draft of the communique will target countries such as China for supporting Russia's war machine in Ukraine, vowing to take appropriate measures in line with its legal systems.

If the language on China is accepted, it would mean an escalation from the previous foreign ministerial meeting in April.
