HSBC, CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  -0.020 (-0.189%)    Short selling $14.79M; Ratio 14.974%   , and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer EcoCeres announced a collaborative project to promote the use of SAF in Hong Kong. Through this partnership, the three parties aim to support innovative solutions to slash carbon emissions from flights in the long term and foster the development of the local SAF ecosystem.

As part of this collaboration, HSBC signed a one-time purchase agreement to acquire around 3,400 tons of SAF produced by EcoCeres, which will be used to fuel CATHAY PAC AIR's flights departing from Hong Kong International Airport.
