Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing, met with Georges Elhedery, Chief Executive of HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  +0.400 (+0.555%)    Short selling $94.84M; Ratio 9.823%   , and Howard Marks, the co-founder and Co-Chairman of Oaktree Capital Management, yesterday (14th).

Beijing, as China's financial management center, is rich in financial resources and is at the forefront of China's financial openness, Yin said. Yin expressed his hope that HSBC HOLDINGS will seize the advantages of Beijing's openness, expand its investment and business layout in Beijing, expand the cooperation between the two parties in areas such as green finance and services for the real economy, and actively participate in the promotion of Beijing's business environment, market opportunities and development prospects, so as to drive more foreign-funded enterprises and organizations to come to invest and develop their business in Beijing.
