The 71st Macau Grand Prix kicked off today (14th) with a number of practice matches and a qualifying scheduled for the first day. However, due to the slippery track and weather conditions, the first practice match and the 56th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix Free Practice were canceled.

Typhoon Signal No. 3 is still in effect, and will remain in force this morning, with a relatively low to medium chance of a change to Typhoon Signal No. 8, according to the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (DSMG).
