In response to recent rumors about an anti-corruption investigation in NetEase Games, a related public relations officer from NTES-S (09999.HK)  -1.100 (-0.912%)    Short selling $143.07M; Ratio 11.150%   (NTES.US)      said on WeChat Moments that the company is steadfast in its anti-corruption stance, and that its anti-corruption efforts have never ceased, according to a Chinese media report.

As the case is still under investigation, the company is not in a place to disclose the specific information, but will make announcement at an appropriate time, the officer added. As the online rumors about money laundering and other issues are purely fabricated, the officer stated that NTES-S has already arranged to report to the police.
