The Hong Kong Observatory announced that according to the present forecast, Tropical Cyclone Yinxing will skirt past the vicinity of the northern part of Luzon today (7th) and will enter within 800 kilometers of Hong Kong around midnight tonight.

With Yinxing gradually edging closer to the coast of southern China, the Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 between noon and 3 p.m. tomorrow (8th).
