CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  -0.020 (-0.248%)    Short selling $717.38K; Ratio 2.229%   planned to start a new round of negotiations for the purchase of long-haul aircraft starting next year to prepare for growth over the next decade, Alex McGowan, Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer of CATHAY PAC AIR, said.

Different sizes of aircraft will be evaluated when considering the purchase, from the smaller Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft to the large Boeing 777-9 airplane.
