BABA-W (09988.HK)  -2.600 (-2.871%)    Short selling $859.66M; Ratio 14.402%   (BABA.US)      announced that Taobao's RMB10-billion subsidy blockbuster amplification for Tmall's Double 11 period this year was upgraded to a RMB10-billion super subsidy event.

As of November 3, the number of orders receiving Taobao's RMB10-billion super subsidy surpassed 100 million, a remarkable upsurge compared to the same period last year, and drove a YoY leap of over 350% in transaction volume in industries such as home appliances, home improvement, and sports and outdoor, while orders for apparel and 3C digital products also shot up 200% and 100% respectively.
