Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, will head south to Shenzhen on Friday (8th) to meet with Hong Kong's political and business circles, according to Hong Kong media reports.

It is reported that several senior business figures, including chamber of commerce executives, and key government officials have suddenly received notifications to attend a meeting in Shenzhen on Friday. It is expected that Xia may elaborate on the latest central policies and encourage the business sector to participate more actively in investments.
