MIDEA GROUP (00300.HK)  -0.600 (-0.845%)    Short selling $34.63M; Ratio 24.505%   America Research Center (MARC)’s expansion project recently broke ground in Louisville, Kentucky, the US. It is planned to expand the MARC by four times, expanding from the existing 27,000 square feet of laboratory and office space to 150,000 square feet, and adding a consumer research insight center and a product achievement exhibition hall.

The MARC expansion project is an important commitment by Midea to achieve growth and product innovation in the local US market. Looking ahead, MARC will add more than 100 R&D positions, continuing to create new employment opportunities in the region while further accumulating the advantages of large-scale local R&D.
