Tmall Double 11 will be launched concurrently on three terminals this year, including the Taobao App and Tmall App on mobile, the Taobao web version on PC, and the Taobao Vision Pro version on XR, Sina Tech quoted sources as saying. This is the first time that Tmall Double 11 has been launched on the XR terminal, marking the beginning of the era of spatial computing for Double 11.

Tmall Double 11 will purportedly launch an exclusive venue on Taobao Vision Pro for the first time this year, with tens of thousands of 3D products being presented in the event. Taobao will also collaborate with five brands to create immersive 3D shopping scenes.

As for the Taobao Vision Pro version of the venue, the first-ever “3D red envelope rain” will be showed in the history of Double 11. Users can catch red envelopes with their hands in the virtual reality space and have the opportunity to receive large three-digit red envelopes that can be used at all three terminals.
