The number of account openings at major brokers in mainland China touched a record high during the National Day holiday, as reported by www.cctv.com. Among them, all employees of the customer service hotline center of a Beijing broker worked throughout the National Day holiday, providing telephone services in 24-hour shifts.

Reports added that some brokers' sales units urgently deployed employees from other provinces to support the enormous number of account openings.
