The Secretary for Development, Bernadette Linn, stated that the government will shortly launch a multi-story modern industrial building site in Hung Shui Kiu through tender in 3QFY24 (October to December).

The "two-envelope approach" will be adopted, requiring bidders to submit both non-price proposals and price proposals separately. Considering that the large scale of the site (around 8 hectares) is expected to involve relatively significant investment, and in response to market demand, the plot ratio will be reduced from 7 times to 5 times, the percentage of floor area required to be handed over to the government will be lowered to 20%, and the tender period will be extended to 1Q25.
