XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  +0.450 (+1.931%)    Short selling $328.84M; Ratio 8.114%   asked the Competition Commission of India to withdraw a report that involved violations of the company and Walmart (WMT.US)      ’s Flipkart, citing trade secrets contained in the report, Reuters cited sources. The recall may affect an investigation launched by the Indian authorities since 2021.

Xiaomi notified the Commission that the report contained sensitive business information and should be redacted before being shared with those involved in the case, sources said. Xiaomi was purportedly concerned that the report contained sales data for various models.

The Commission shared the report with the parties involved in the case, and the recall of the report means that all parties need to return the report and make redaction. The Commission had previously found that Amazon (AMZN.US)      and Flipkart favored some sellers, including Xiaomi. Sources said that Xiaomi was not concerned with data in the report made on Amazon.
