Hu Xiao, the original head of BABA-W (09988.HK)  -5.100 (-4.431%)    Short selling $2.17B; Ratio 14.291%   (BABA.US)      's strategic investment department, recently left Alibaba and joined the M&A fund "FirstLight Capital" founded by Liu Xiaodan, according to Chinese media LatePost.

Alibaba's original Chairman and CEO Daniel Zhang had announced in March this year that he joined FirstLight as a partner, report told.
