Fliggy, a travel service platform of BABA-W (09988.HK)  -0.450 (-0.516%)    Short selling $1.38B; Ratio 22.686%   , released the latest "2024 Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Travel Prelim Report". It stated that the total number of travel bookings for the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in mainland China this year notched an impressive growth compared to the Chinese New Year, Qingming Festival and Dragon Boat Festival holidays, touching the peak for the three-day holiday.

Among which, the per capita booking volume for domestic tours for Mid-Autumn Festival escalated by 5% compared to the Dragon Boat Festival, while the per capita booking volume for outbound tours was basically the same as the Dragon Boat Festival.

In addition, the number of domestic car rental bookings during the Mid-Autumn Festival hiked 31% compared to the Dragon Boat Festival; the number of domestic hotel bookings were way beyond that in the same period in 2019, with high-star hotels and characteristic homestays accounting for as much as 60%.
