According to the Macao Daily News, the first day of Mainland China's three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which began yesterday, saw over 120,000 visitors arriving in Macau. Macau tourism industry insiders estimated that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the average daily number of visitors would reach 100,000, with hotel occupancy rates of 80-90%. They advocated for the continuous expansion of direct flights from more cities to attract long-distance travelers.

Hu Jingguang, President of the Travel Industry Council of Macau, stated that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the average daily number of visitors is expected to reach 100,000. With stable room rates, he expected hotel occupancy rates to be encouraging, reflecting market confidence in Mid-Autumn Festival travel demand.
