Sam Hou Fai, who is running for the sixth term of the Chief Executive in Macau, met with 12 persons in charge of Macau's six major integrated tourism and leisure enterprises, including Pansy Ho, Chairman and Executive Director of MGM CHINA (02282.HK)  +0.060 (+0.586%)    Short selling $6.57M; Ratio 10.390%   , Lawrence Ho, Chairman and CEO of Melco Entertainment (MLCO.US)      , and Daisy Ho, Executive Director of SJM, at the candidate's election office yesterday (12th), to listen to their suggestions on the development of Macau as a world center of tourism and leisure, Allin News reported.

Sam affirmed the contribution of the six major gaming companies to Macau's economic development, and hoped that the gaming industry would maintain healthy, orderly and sustainable development in accordance with the law and promote moderate diversification of Macau's economy.

During the meeting, the representatives of the gaming industry also reviewed the milestones achieved since the fulfillment of the franchise agreement, including the expansion of non-gaming elements, protection of local employment and staff training. They also looked forward to continuing to enhance the quality of service and expand international visitor sources under the leadership of the Macao Government in the future.
