The latest US data shows that the economy is slowing down, and the market's forecast on a rate cut by the Fed next week is expected to heat up. Spot gold price continued to break through ceiling, and peaked at US$2,568.06 this morning (13th). It last added 0.2% to US$2,562.52.

Hong Kong gold miners were popular. ZHAOJIN MINING (01818.HK)  +0.460 (+3.566%)    Short selling $60.98M; Ratio 28.165%   opened 4.3% higher, and peaked at $12.88. The stock last printed at $12.7, advancing 4.96%, with 1.389 million shares traded, involving $17.6942 million.
