Nicolas Appelgren, Europe CEO of Lynk & Co, a joint venture between Geely and Volvo, stated that there is no intention to pass on tariff costs to consumers.

Next month, the company will launch in Europe its first China-made electric vehicle (EV), a compact SUV that faces an 18.8% tariff. The manufacturer has not yet announced the European price, but Volvo's EX30 and Zeekr's X, compact SUVs that were developed on the same platform as Lynk & Co's, are priced around EUR40,000-45,000 in Germany.
