According to a report by Sina Tech, Robin Li, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  +5.350 (+5.587%)    Short selling $484.09M; Ratio 21.343%   , mentioned in a recent exchange with employees that the gap between future foundation models may widen, and the current situation is far from ideal.

Consequently, models need to be continuously and rapidly iterated, updated, and upgraded, which requires consistent investment over several years or even decades to constantly meet user needs, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. The gap between models, Li added, is multi-dimensional, including aspects of capability and cost.
