Cainiao CEO Wan Lin stated at the 2024 Global Smart Logistics Summit that the company will continue to expand its global logistics backbone network, providing satisfying services to both Alibaba e-commerce and the open market, Chinese media reported. Wan added that the company has always been a leader in digital intelligence and AI applications, and will continue to be a best practitioner in autonomous driving and automation in the future.

Cainiao will launch the second batch of global eHub construction, accelerating the integration of the global logistics network into global and regional industrial chain layouts, Wan said. The company aims to build a global express network covering China, cross-border, and overseas local markets, working alongside the industrial chain to better serve global e-commerce development.

Currently, Cainiao's overseas local express services are operational in 10 countries and regions. In terms of the global supply chain, the company operates over 800,000 square meters of overseas warehouses globally, providing professional services in 18 countries and regions.
