Citing sources, Chinese media The Paper reported that SINO-OCEAN GP (03377.HK)  +0.008 (+4.167%)   has responded two weeks after receiving the improvement proposal from the creditors' group. The group said it is willing to maintain cooperation and communication, and will continue to consider the requests made by the creditors' group, which is also welcome to participate in the reorganisation.

The High Court of Hong Kong will hear a winding-up petition against SINO-OCEAN on 11 September. It is learnt that in addition to the existing winding-up petition, some new investors have indicated that they would like to instruct their trustees to submit additional winding-up petitions.

According to some legal sources, although different entities have filed winding-up petitions, other creditors can join the existing winding-up petition if there is one.
