Foreign media reported that the US government, along with its allies, has imposed new export controls on critical technologies such as quantum computers and chip products to countries such as China. The new restrictions target quantum computers and components, advanced semiconductor technologies such as GAA (Gated All-Around Arrays), as well as a variety of components and software related to metals and alloys.

The new rules will cover all exports worldwide, but exemptions will be granted to countries with similar measures. The US Department of Commerce said that Japan, the Netherlands and other allies are participating in the action, with more countries expected to follow.
