The Macao Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) announced that due to the impact of the tropical cyclone, the sea surface winds and waves are relatively high. In order to ensure the safety of maritime passenger transport, some of Macao's external maritime passenger trips need to be cancelled.

Due to the impact of the tropical cyclone, to cooperate with the typhoon prevention plan of the neighbouring regions and to ensure the safety of marine passenger transport, all passenger ferry trips between Macao and Shenzhen Shekou and Fuyong, some Hong Kong-Macao trips between Taipa and Sheung Wan, as well as Macao's sea cruise trips, will be suspended for the whole of today and tomorrow (5th and 6th), until further notice.

If the path of the tropical cyclone approaches further towards the Pearl River Estuary, the shipping companies may need to suspend other sea voyages. Citizens and travellers can check with the shipping companies for specific details of the sailings and ticketing arrangements. In addition, passenger trips between Taipa and Zhuhai Guishan Island are also suspended on Saturday and Sunday due to the tropical cyclone.
