The US has placed 6 companies on its trade restriction list. Of these, 4 are linked to the Test Flying Academy of South Africa and the use of Western and NATO resources to train Chinese military pilots last year, namely Global Training Solutions Limited and Smartech Future Limited of China, and Grace Air (Pty) Ltd and Livingston Aerospace Limited of the UK

Two other listed companies include Mega Fast Cargo and Mega Technique General Trading of the UAE, which is suspected of transporting US-origin goods to Russia.

The US Department of Commerce also placed 13 companies on the unverified list, including 8 from China, as American export control officials were unable to complete an on-site review to determine whether the companies could receive US-origin technology and other goods. The Department also removed 8 companies from the unverified list, 6 of which were from China.
