SWIREPROPERTIES (01972.HK)  -0.240 (-1.387%)    Short selling $11.50M; Ratio 20.034%   once announced that it will invest over $100 billion over the next 10 years.

$50 billion is planned to be invested in the development in the mainland China market, including the development of brand new projects in Xi'an and Sanya, Guy Bradley, Chairman of SWIRE PACIFIC (00019.HK)  -1.050 (-1.508%)    Short selling $14.28M; Ratio 14.811%   (00087.HK)  -0.100 (-0.916%)   and SWIREPROPERTIES, said.

About 58% of the budget investment amount has been placed to new and on-going development projects so far. In addition, SWIRE PACIFIC's Coca-Cola new Kunshan plant project has been implemented.

At the same time, CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  -0.160 (-1.521%)    Short selling $39.29M; Ratio 26.115%   is also working to increase the number of new routes and the density of flights to and from cities in China.

Tim Blackburn, SWIREPROPERTIES' Chief Executive, added that about $30 billion will be invested in the further expansion of Pacific Place and Taikoo Place in the future.
