BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)  -1.800 (-0.655%)    Short selling $72.96M; Ratio 13.577%   (002594.SZ)  -4.580 (-1.641%)   has sent a delegation to Jalisco, Mexico, to meet with state officials and local Chinese suppliers to consider setting up an electric vehicle (EV) plant there, with an expected investment amount of about US$600 million, according to Bloomberg News. The amount is similar to that of its EV plant in Brazil.
