According to the Housing Bureau, the Housing Authority's Subsidised Housing Committee has reviewed and recommended that the proposed Public Rental Housing (PRH) income limits for 1-person and 4-person households for 2024/25 will be frozen at their current levels, i.e. $12,940 and $30,950 respectively, with the income limits for 4-person households remaining unchanged for four consecutive years. The income limits for the remaining categories of households would be increased by 0.9% to 4.4%.

Meanwhile, the proposed PRH asset limits for all household sizes have increased by 3% over 2023/24. The asset limits for 1-person households have been relaxed from $278,000 to $286,000, and those for 4-person households from $573,000 to $590,000.

The Committee will meet on 22 March to discuss the issue.
