Xi Jinping, Chinese President and General Secretary of the Communist Party, will receive a briefing from Chinese regulators on the financial market, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying.

Regulators, led by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), will bulletin China's top leadership on market conditions and the latest policies as soon as possible. It is unclear whether any new stimulus measures will be introduced at the briefing meeting.
