COUNTRY GARDEN (02007.HK)  -0.010 (-2.326%)    Short selling $2.31M; Ratio 16.705%   has been selling off its overseas assets to pay off its debts as it faces humungous debt pressure. According to a report by guandian.cn, COUNTRY GARDEN, after exiting Australia market, is also withdrawing from the UK from this week.

COUNTRY GARDEN is considering selling Ailsa Wharf, a residential development project in East London, having hired KPMG to restructure its debt. The project is planned for 952 homes with a total value of around GBP450 million.
