China's price index for newly built commercial residential properties in 70 large and medium-sized cities across mainland China continued to slip by 2.2% YoY in October, dropping 0.5% MoM, marking the largest decline since October 2024, according to calculations by Reuters based on data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Among the 70 large and medium-sized cities, the price index for newly built residential properties rose in 6 cities MoM in October, compared to 5 cities in September, as per calculations.
