LAEKNA-B (02105.HK) announced a share placing immediately after a 48% share surge yesterday (20th). Today (21st), it opened 10.94% lower and then narrowed its decline slightly. It last printed at $14.56, down 7.38%, with 4.948 million shares traded, involving $70.3358 million. LAEKNA-B announced that it intends to place shares of the company at a price of $13.36 per share at a discount of about 15.01%. The placing is expected to raise net proceeds of about $230 million, which are expected to be fully utilized by December 31, 2026 and will be used for accelerating research and development of LAE102 and other drug assets targeting ActRII receptors.
