LAEKNA-B (02105.HK) announced that it intends to place a total of 17.636 million shares of the company, equivalent to about 4.33% of the enlarged share capital of the company, at a price of $13.36 per share, representing a discount of about 15.01% to yesterday (20th)'s closing price of $15.72. The placing is expected to raise net proceeds of about $230 million. The net proceeds from the Placing are expected to be fully utilized by December 31, 2026 and will be used for accelerating research and development of LAE102 and other drug assets targeting ActRII receptors.
