In the past few hours, Man-yi continued to track west across the northern part of the South China Sea and weakened, according to the announcement made by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO). Man-yi is now closest to the territory, skirting within about 400 kilometers to the south of Hong Kong. Its associated rainbands are affecting the coast of Guangdong.
