Taobao's official announcement indicated that consumers can use TENCENT (00700.HK)'s WeChat Pay to make purchases on Taobao, BABA-W (09988.HK)'s e-commerce platform, starting today (27th).

After the consumer finishes selecting the goods, they can choose "WeChat Pay" on the payment page to complete the payment smoothly, and the whole experience is consistent with other payment tools, the webpage showed.
