BANK OF CHINA (03988.HK) announced that the net profit rose 5% year-on-year to RMB227.439 billion for the year ended 31 December 2022, versus brokers' forecast as compiled by our reporters at RMB226.837-229.854 billion. The net profit was a little shy of the median of their forecasts at RMB228.755 billion. Basic EPS was RMB73 cents.
